We begin with a champagne toast to Shakespeare in Hyde Park and wander through the
streets of East Sydney and Woolloomoolloo,
taking in local sites of historical
and cultural importance, with surprise
performances of Shakespeare along
the way...
Actors of all ages, familiar and new faces, take to the streets in this fabulous event, making it
perfect for the whole family. You've
never seen Sydney like this!
We end with a pub lunch, fun for the whole family.
Proceeds from this year's Sonnet Stroll will be put into our scholarship fund to help selected students participate in:
- National Youth Production (Shakespeare Youth Festival)
- Shakespeare Unleashed
- New Zealand exchange program
