Acclaimed actor Matthew O'Sullivan brings the great speeches to life, interwoven with anecdotes and ruminations on the task of performing this most difficult and challenging role.

Matthew O'Sullivan is artistic co-director of the Globe and has played King Lear in three different productions, amongst many other Shakespeare roles. In PLAYING LEAR he talks about approaching this most challenging of roles, interwoven with some of the great speeches.
